All ukuleles we sell are first checked over and adjusted. Don't trust buying an unopened box online. Almost all the ukuleles we receive from our suppliers need some work before we sell them.

What is a ukulele?
The ukulele is a descendant of a Portuguese instrument called the machete. It came to Hawaii with a ship full of immigrants, arriving in Honolulu on 23rd August 1879.

Ukulele Orchestra of Amsterdam
We have an orchestra that meets every week in our local community centre. If you want to know more take a look at their page.
We also have accessories, books and give lessons dedicated to our happy little four string friend. We manufacture our own range of designer ukulele straps and have other hand crafted products in the pipeline!
We have a selection of other small instruments such as small guitars, harmonicas, flutes, melodicas and hand percussion instruments.
We also offer a extended ukulele range via our web store. You can pay 50% deposit and we will have your instrument checked and adjusted before you come to collect it. Or we can deliver if you can't come and visit us. See our sister site for more info - www.ukulelewinkel.com
